WIDOW
Fashion story published in Harpers Bazaar exploring independence, self-denial, and life beyond traditional roles.
The word "widow" is redefined here—not as a symbol of grief, but as a woman who has outlived the structure that once defined her.
Set intentionally in a first republic villa, where I used the space as a quiet counterpart to the character.
A place built for order, tradition, and public image — now observed at a moment when those systems no longer dictate behavior, but remain as architecture.
I played with the idea on what happens when roles lose their purpose. What was meant to impress becomes choice, something lived in.
Elegance here is not performative — it’s intentional and gestures of own self-definition.
I didn’t focused on portraying absence or loss, but presence.
A woman who is not abandoned, but no longer shaped by expectations or society approvals.
